Gabrielle Greiss

Biography

From Munich to Paris, from fashion to sculpture, Gabrielle Greiss has consistently pursued her artistic vision with courage and originality.

Educated at Central Saint Martins in London and shaped by years in leading roles in fashion at houses such as Martine Sitbon, Lanvin, Sonia Rykiel, and Chloé, she developed an intimate understanding of fashion — how garments are constructed, how elegance is shaped. In her work, the discipline of couture meets the attitude of punk.

Turning to sculpture and drawing in search of a more intimate mode of expression, Greiss began to treat material as language rather than surface. Stories are transformed into sculpture, and sculpture into jewellery that move fluidly between object and adornment.

In 2024, her first jewellery collection, Fables Etcetera is inspired by fables from Aesop to La Fontaine, presenting a poetic bestiary in which each creature carries its own symbolism and soul.

Her collection For You I Am… continues this trajectory, turning its focus toward flowers inspired by Ovid’s metamorphoses, shaped by desire rather than nature, preserving movement by denying fragility and capturing the moment that would otherwise fade.
